Class II Restoration on upper right second premolar with composite resin during orthodontic treatment.

my friend, a dentist, came for a visit to fix her tooth. she is still on orthodontic treatment, and had a class II Cavity on upper right second premolar. xray image showed an undermined caries on distal.

after taking proper informed consent, i started my dental treatment as follows:
1. rubberdam placement: Hu friedy rubberdam clamp and nictone rubberdam sheet
2. cavity preparation
3. matrix placement: Spring clip matrix (TOR VM)
4. bulkfill composite resin as first layer: Filtek BulkFill (3M)
5. coronal layer of composite with Palfique LX5 (Tokuyama).
6. Finishing and polishing with Soflex (3M), Enhance (Dentsply-Sirona).
7. Xray Evaluation with VistaRay 7.1 (Durr) Showed an intact margin and homogeneous body of composite resin.
