my endo – resto story: mandibular left second molar with irreversible pulpitis

got this case referred from my friend, an orthodontist, to do a restorative treatment on mandibular left second molar. at first i didn’t expect the cavity will be this big until i saw the radiographic image and suspected the asymptomatic pain on my patient’s chief complain. the WD/ was irreversible pulpitis.

after taking a proper informed consent, i started my dental treatment on two visits. at first visit, i did endodontic treatment. at second visit, i did restorative treatment. low shrinkage stress flowable composite was used as my coronal seal and core build up material, followed with packable composite resin (plus staining) as capping.

hope this dental treatment will be long last 🙂
