endodontic revision, fiber post, and crown restoration on maxillary right second premolar

a patient came with a broken tooth which had been endodontically treated for more than 2 years. pain on percussion did exist, and xray image showed a slight radiolucency at the apex. the working diagnosis was chronic apcal periodontitis on post endodontically treated tooth. after taking a proper informed consent i started my dental treatment.

ps: the previous operator used core carrier gutta percha, i used ultrasonic scaler to remove the plastic carrier and solvent for remaining guttapercha removal.

hope this dental treatment will be long last 🙂
