restoration of deep and big hidden cavity with composite resin on mandibular premolar

sometimes, a patient can not feel the presence of a caries until the cavity is getting bigger and causing discomfort. like this case, i found a deep and big hidden proximal cavity, and an overhanging filling on adjacent molar. after taking a proper informed consent, i started my dental treatment as follows.

in this case, i only use one shade (body shade) with color modifier to mimic the fissure..

hope this dental treatment will be long last 🙂
