Midline anterior teeth caries restored with composite resin.
Few days ago, i got a parient with a blackening on his anterirlir teeth (both upper centrals in the midline). the diagnosis was class III caries. He felt very upset with his current appearance, and wanted to get his teeth fixed.
After taking an informed consent, i started my dental treatment as follows.
- Rubberdam placement: Sanctuary rubberdam clamp on both upper premolar and it’s respected sheet
- tooth prepaparation
- Composite resin restoration with Palfique LX5 (tokuyama)
- contouring, finishing, and polishing with Soflex (3M), Enhance (dentsplySirona)
- Radiograhic examination with Vistaray 7.1 (Durr) showed a hermetic obturation, intact margin and homogeneous body of restoration. this will provide a predictable longevity of restoration.
