class II restoration adjacent to missing tooth and near the surgical site

a patient referred from my friend, an orthodontist, to restore a maxillary left second premolar with deep class II cavity adjacent to previously extracted first molar.

for me, challenge was how to make a proper isolation and gingival retraction. but, thanks to rubberdam isolation for its ability to do both things. and also thanks to spring clip matrix ability to stand adjacent to adentulous area.

hope this dental treatment will be long last 🙂
