Class II composite resin restoration on maxillary right second premolar
a patient came with a sensitive sensation while drinking cold beverage on upper tooth, while there was a deep cavity which made the food stuck into it. radiographic image (taken with VistaRay 7.1 sensor from Durr) revealed also a distal cavity. after taking a proper informed consent, i started the dental treatment as on my video.
here i did the class 2 cavity restoration with composite resin. following cavity preparation, i did the refinement of cavity preparation with diamond-coated-ultrasonic-tips, excavus, from satelec. rubberdam placement (hu friedy rubberdam clamp and sanctuary rubberdam sheet) was placed to create a proper isolation during restorative work. final xray evaluation showed an intact margin between composite resin and tooth structure, also a homogeneous restoration’s body.
