My Restodontic Journey: (perawatan saluran akar) Recreating the Crown (incisive)

few days ago my patient came with a broken anterior crown, yup! it was caused by biting some hard food.. it was 2 weeks before having my schedule to get a dental treatment. he felt no pain at all, tenderness on percussion, non vital. the diagnosis was pulp necrosis with chronic apical periodontitis.
after taking a proper informed consent, i started my dental treatment as follows:

1. Rubberdam placement: Sanctuary rubberdam clamp and sheet (endodontic treatment) and Nictone rubberdam sheet for restorative treatment
2. Biomechanical preparation:  Wave One (dentsplysirona), agitation of irrigating solution with powerflosser (waterpik), irrigation with sodium hypochlorite 5,24%, EDTA 18% sol
3. fiber post placement
4. core and crown build up with composite resin: Palfique LX5 (Tokuyama)
5. adjusting, finishing, polishing: soflex (3M), enhance (Dentsply sirona)
6. xray evaluation with Vistaray 7.1 (Durr Dental) showed intact margin, and homogeneous body of restoration (composite resin)

Restodontic treatment of inflammatory periapical lesion of endodontic origin due to traumatic from occlusion

A patient came with a swollen gum under the tooth 15 (upper right second premolar), referred from my friend (a dentist) due to undefined origin. No caries nor deep cavity exist, no crack either. Xray evaluation showed a periapical inflammatory lesion with size of +/- 5,7 x 6 mm. The tooth is non vital, tender to percussion.

After taking proper informed consent i started my dental treatment. I put rubber dam (hu friedy rubberdam clamp and blossom rubberdam sheet).
Shaping was done with mtwo files (VDW) with clockwise reciprocal motion using Imate2c endomotor (Denjoy). Cleaning with Natrium Hypochlorite 5,24% (generic) and EDTA 18% sol (Ultradent). Obturation with guttapercha and EndoRez (ultradent) then coronally sealed with low shrinkage stress flowable composite resin (filtek bulkfill flowable – 3M). Xray evaluation with Vistaray 7.1 (Durr) showed well filled obturation and intact margin between Composite resin, dentin, and gutta percha.

after 10 days, my patient came to control her tooth and got a restoration. the swollen has healed after one visit endodontic treatment. And i am ready to do my next step: restoration.

After taking a proper informed consent, i started my dental treatment as follows:
1. Rubber dam placement: hu friedy rubberdam clamp and nictone rubberdam sheet.
2. Coronal seal: low shrinkage stress flowable composite (filtek bulkfill flowable – 3M) ~ previously placed after obturation.
3. Core: filtek bulkfill – 3M
4. Dentin layer: filtek Z350XT shade A4
5. Enamel layer: filtek Z350XT shade A2
6. Finishing and polishing: soflex (3M) and Enhance (Dentsply)
7. Xray examination with VistaRay 7.1 (Durr) showed: hermetic filling, maintained marginal integration between composite resin – guttapercha – tooth structure, resorbed sealer (EndoRez – Ultradent) at apices, and homogeneous composite resin at coronal.
