Restoration of deep class II cavity

Ok.. I call my patient as Andi. Andi loves sweets, and he can’t live without eating chocolate. Whenevet He ate chocolate, he felt that his endorphines rose up, and feeling soo highly spirited. But, the problem came in since he got his first cavity on the top of his first molar. Andi started feeling itchy while drinking cold beverages, and not as highly spirited as before. The first time he went to dentists leave a trauma because it didnt solve the problem, Andi still felt senditive. until Andi realized that the cavity also exist on in between the molars. This story will tell the dental treatment of Andi’s molar tooth.

After taking proper informed consent, I started the dental treament. At first, i took xray image, then placed rubber dam (blossom rubber dam sheet and sanctuary rubber dam clamp). Aftet cavity preparation, I put sectional matrix (Triodent).

As a first layer of my composite resin, i placed fiber reinforced composite, EverX (GC), followed with G-aenial (GC). Polished with Komet polishing composite kit and soflex (3M).
X ray evaluation with VistaRay 7.1 (Durr) showed an intact margin between composite resin and tooth structure, also a homogeneous body of restoration. This will provide a predictable long term result regarding the resistance of this filling to withstand occlusal load.

Finally, Andi was Happy with his dental treatment.
