Class II and Class V In One Tooth
…..
How often we find a class II cavity? And how about the class V? And finally, how often we find out a class II cavity and Class V in one paticular tooth? And here is the case..
A patient came to me to fix the cavitated tooth, she felt a regular food retention, and pain or sensitive while drinking cold beverages.
At my examination, the source of pain was from lower left second premolar. Tooth still vital, dentin still intact, and radiographic examination also confirm this.
After taking proper informed consent, i started my dental tretment.

I put the rubberdam (blossom rubberdam sheet and hu-friedy rubberdam clamp). Then, i cleaned up all the cavity by removing the caries. Followed with Put greatercurve matrix.
As the first layer, i used Ever-X (GC) as dentin subsitute. Followed with G-aenial (GC). Then polished with Soflex (3M) and enhance (dentsply). Finally, x ray evaluation with VistaRay 7.1 (Durr) showed an intact margin between composite resin and dental structure, also a homogeneous body of restoration.
