Anterior Restoration: 2nd (Lateral) Incisive

I got a refferal from my friend, an orthodontist, to replace this old-overhanged composite on upper right second incisive just prior to orthodontic treatment. The other incisive also had composite resin filling but the condition was good, no need to replace it. The pevel of the papila between these teeth (11 and 12) had already reduced due to previous treatment.…

After taking proper examination, i started removing this old filling. Put matrix, fix it with cureable resin (gingival barrier), then place the composite resin (I used Z350XT A3 body shade only). Xray examination with durr VistaRay 7.1 at 60kV, 3mA, 0,03 seconds.
Finally.. i referred back the patient to my friend.. 🙂
