This is what we called with transformation, from amalgam to composite resin restoration.

My friend came to me with a quite sensitive tooth and bad restoration over it on her lower left first molar.
Then, the amalgam filling removed, replaced with composite resin. The material i used was z350XT (3MESPE) with a little bit addition of white color from Ultradent. Polished with arkansas stone, enhance (Dentsply), and Soflex (3MESPE).
And final radiographic image shown below..
Hope this restoration will last for a long time.
