This patient had been endodontically retreated on her upper right first premolar. (Please refer to SekilasKonservasiGigi.Com for more complete story). For 7 weeks, this patient had not received any perment filling. Indeed, I only put temporary filling (cavit – 3M) prior to coronal filling. 🙂

Let’s say my patient name was Dhea. Dhea is a very busy working woman. Once Dhea done her endodontic treatment, but the pain still persist. Until 7 weeks ago she did endodontic retreatment. Since that day, Dhea never felt any pain, and almost forgot to go to her dentist (me) to finish this case. Dhea already knew that her previous all ceramic onlay should be removed, but I tried to do a conservative treatment by putting composite inside the onlay. Thanks to silane-contained adhesive material (single bond universal – 3M), so that we can make a couple between composite and ceramic. 🙂

After placing rubber dam (nictone rubberdam sheet and hu friedy rubberdam clamp), I place a fiber reinforced composite (EverX – GC) followed with packable composite (G-aenial – GC) without color modifier. Polishing was done with composite polisher kit (komet).

Alhamdulillaah.. everything went as expected, Dhea loved it. Not only having a good anatomy than previous appearance, but also good for her savings.
