Sometimes, I also updated my cases at Line or Linkedin. 🙂 this topic will focus only on conservative dentistry cases such as restorative dentistry and endodontic or root canal treatment.
Thanks to my friends that alwsys shared their cases in socmed, and my brothers drg. Muhammad Furqan Rizal and drg. Rinto Abimanyu who always keep me alive with this dental world. Quite often we were discussing about the rationals of rewalling in endodontic. Then, as usual, I love the statement from Dr. Pierre Machtou that It is not the placement of the file (which merely displace irrigant in the canal), it is the movement of the file in and out of the canal that carries the solution apically. Machtou points out that it is only possible to create this condition if we have a four walled access cavity with sufficient reservoir of irrigants in the chamber.
If we do not reconstruct the loss tooth material prior to treatment, we loss the advantage of having this reservoir of fresh solution and that makes active irrigation imposible to achieve.
Creating 4 walled access cavity can be achieved by rewalling with restorative material or resin barrier as temporary wall (as if in one visit endodontic treatment)

In this video, My Endodontic Journey, I am showing a step by step from rewalling to obturation in one visit endo.
Material usage were:
1. Rubber dam: hu friedy rubber dam clamp, blossom rubberdam sheet, nictone rubberdam sheet in endo phase.
2. File: Protaper Next (dentsply) in Clockwise reciprocal motion with IM2C endomotor (Denjoy)
3. Irrigation: NaOCl 5,24% (generic), EDTA 18% Sol (Ultradent), CHX 2% (Consepsis – Ultradent). Agitated/activated with EndoActivator (Densply)
4. Restorative material: SDR (dentsply) as coronal seal, Filtek Bulkfil (3M) as rewalling.
5. Xray sensor: Vistaray 7.1 (Durr) and VistaScan.
